To be honest, we were never big fans of Chocolate Shoo-Fly-- that is, until we tried Naomi's version. Her Wet Bottom Chocolate Shoo-Fly has the same kind of quality that many Molten Lava Cakes in the fancy restaurants feature: it's perfectly decadent. Chocolate lovers, you simply must try this pie.

The chocolately gooiness in the bottom of the pie, contrasted with the chocolate cake that rises during the baking process, and topped with the same vanilla cream filling that goes into Whoopie Pies, well...it's enough to drive a respectable Chocoholic over the edge!

This spin on the classic Shoo-Fly is certainly present at restaurants and roadside stands throughout Pennsylvania Dutch Country, but it's never caught up to its more famous predecessor in popularity. If Naomi's secret gets out, that's going to change.

Dimensions: 9" pie.

Ingredients: Sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, instant clear gel, butter, salt, molasses, water, flour, brown sugar, vegetable shortening, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.

Attention for those with allergies: The equipment in Naomi's kitchen processes and packages products containing peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, egg, and wheat ingredients.

US Postal Money Orders will ship the next Monday after the US Postal Money Order is received.
