Close-up reveals tips of red plaid and blue homespun bear paws on the beige fabric the Amish refer to as "paper bag". This particular paper bag is of a tendril-type print:
Description: We arrived at Mary's to buy another quilt, but our hearts just melted when we saw this beautiful Bear Paw wall hanging. The Bear Paw is one of those iconic patterns; it is known to have been in use sometime before 1890. The addition of nine different homespun plaids against the paper bag fabric just knocks our socks off! This is one of those items that, no matter how hard we try, the photos just don't do it justice. We think you'll fall in love with it when you lay eyes on the actual item!
ITEM OF NOTE: there is a faint coffee stain on the white back which we've tried to remove but can't altogether. We've illustrated it below and are taking $20.00 off, even though it cannot be noticed whatsoever on the front. It is to the left of the safety pin (inserted only for demonstration purposes):

Excellent piecing; standard to good quilting.
Has five loops (approximate dimensions 2 1/2' x scant 1") for hanging. Dowel not included. One loop pictured below:
