Hit & Miss quilts are made from the piecers' scraps, but are treasured by many for their unique appearance. A true veteran piecer like Malinda can match these colors harmoniously, as evidenced by the final product! Notice in particular the beautiful interplay between the white and beige prints in the light half of each square.
No one knows why, but this diamond shaped variation of the Log Cabin design is called "Barn Raising."
