Description: What a gorgeous quilt! The Lone Star is typified by a central star that usually extends most of the length and breadth of the quilt. This quilt is a variation of that classic design. The artist has appliqued smaller stars, known as touching stars, in-between each of the points of the star. She has added appliqued stars on the pillow top and tulip swags in each of the four corners. It is positively stunning!
Excellent piecing; good quilting.
