Stitching: Very good quality with an average of 6 stitches per inch
Description: This Ocean Wave quilt is just gorgeous! The Ocean Wave block pattern was featured in a Sampler Quilt as early as pre-Civil War (1842-1843) but came into its own as its own pattern circa 1875. But this newer, curvy design's creation date eludes us. The ocean waves range from white stars on red to a rich red, pink, blue and white floral print on a dark blue background to rich deep red and navy solids. Terrific piecing; very good quilting.
Backing: White back.
